Are you aware that it's possible for people to lie? Some people will just pretend to be disabled to get famous. It's actually very common. For example, they might pretend to be blind when they aren't.

And to increase their fame even more, they might pretend to also have multiple personality disorder. Oh, and miraculiously, one of their personalities can see! "Everybody better pay attention to me, I'm so miraculous with my personality that can see!"

As an EE I've been following a maths course for the lulz. Basic stuff, construction of stuff using axioms. At first it seemed retarded because the axioms looked so retardedly obvious

But after giving it some thought, I started to wonder why it seemed so logical. Why does everyone think it's obvious that 1 > 0? I thought it's because everyone is taught that shit at school very early in their lives. But are axioms really that obvious? Discuss
