I'm super skeptical and don't know why this got so much attention. No proof given. No respect earned. Laughing about the code being in python is stupid though. Could it be faster? Yes. Not in terms of complexity obviously. All the science fags I know use R and try to pick up python because they know it's relatively easy. Even the people working on sha1 collisions write simulations. Sure, they eventually use clusters of thousands of GPUs but you have to test something before you dump hundreds of thousands on it. O(n) time? Yeah, prob don't need to make a parallelized cuda program. I think this is BS but don't shit on python. It has it's uses.
