My friend said that division by 0 was possible, just not in any known fields or rings but if we invent one where we can do it then it'll be perfectly fine.

I don't know what to say. Is this accurate?

Hey /sci/, I'm using Maple (version 15). I have a program in it that generates some points, and I wanted to try to click an individual point and get its coordinates. Is there any way to do that in Maple? Or do I just have to estimate based on the axes? I would think there should be an exact way somehow, but I can't figure it out...

Anyone good with number theory on?

How would I find how many solutions exist to the congruence
x^2 = 1 mod (3^n)
in terms of n?

I tried breaking it up into n congruences each mod 3 but then I'm not sure what to do from here. Can anyone help?

Start with physics. This should give you a firm grounding in hard science, experimentation and how to think, and is useful for everything.
Then move into bio and chem. This will help you understand your own body, and will get you started thinking on what needs to change.
I should be taking more compsci classes, since everything is computers, but whatever. I don't like programming. I don't have the patience for it.
Instead of bullshit art or English classes, take psychology and HARDCORE PHILOSOPHY, with emphasis in logic and bioethics. The logic and psychology will help you think CORRECTLY. We fool ourselves all the time, and being aware of this is the first step towards fixing the problem - something that can't be done in the foreseeable future with machines or medicine.
You might also consider more medical classes, or political science classes, especially near the end of your college years. One will help you actually work on some of the more biological related problems, the other may come in handy in moving the whole project forwards.
My goal is to become a mentat, thus all the psych and logic. If you know what subject you want to go in, just LEARN IT. If you don't, then start off with physics, and keep going 'till you find something you like.

>My face when I watched this while Runner's high after fapping excessively

But yeah, the universe is fucking beautiful, when it's late at night and I'm on a long car ride with my friends, I just stare at the stars, it keeps me from getting bored, and time just flies by.

No wonder our earliest ancestors came up with ideas like magic and spirits that live in nature, it's impossible to not be compelled by it.
