I've had difficulties with retracting my foreskin since puberty and went to an urologist for a diagnosis, he said I have a rare condition where a certain mucosa on the tip of the penis that is shed during puberty remained in my case and it causes a false phimosis. The doctor indicated I retract my foreskin as low as I painlessly can "in the bath or on the bed" so that in a month I should see results.
I have been succesfully pulling my foreskin after moistening it in the shower to the point that my frenulum is exposed with minimum discomfort (although it still hurts to touch the tip), I have been observing progress doing these kind of damp stretches because I could not have previously stretched so far back in the shower, but I don't know if it is because of my foreskin loosening or if I'm just becoming bolder, since when I try to stretch with a dry foreskin I find it much more difficult. Whatever length the foreskin drags itself over my penis when I am erect is small/nonexistent (though I am possibly impatient, I've been doing this for less than a week yet, I'm mad my dick doesn't work please bear with me). When I try to pull the foreskin FROM the penis(pinching it and dragging away) while wet I don't notice any difficulties, when it's dry it unsticks with a smacking noise and a sting then reverts back to the place it was and it's a very unpleasant sensation.
I need to know if I need to stretch when dry to see any progress or if I will still see some progress if I only retract my foreskin after wetting it. I'd rather take the second option even if it takes longer because the fucking dick pain is torment. Should have probably also asked him how will the retractions actually help with the lingering mucosa, presumably it should dry off by itself or wear from the friction?
Asking here rather than on /adv/ because maybe more medically literate people lurk here, please save me from becoming a jew. I could not find anything relating to my condition on Google
