>we will never experience wandering around the universe.
So will the rest of humanity, ever.
Thinking that humanity will ever leave this solar system is as retarded as how people thought the future will look like in the 70's, with silver spaceships and floatating devices and shit.

We will NEVER leave our solar system for one reason and one reason only:
Humanity will never give FULL control to AI.
This is out of pride, we cope by saying AI is untrustworthy and could go haywire. But really it's our deep seeded pride to have full control of our fate. We simply cannot hand it to another intelligence and be told what to do. This is our demise.

Humanity will never be able to coordinate deep-space travel. Think about it, we can't get along with each other on this tiny Earth. Each country hates and fears the other, even its neighbors. Think about civilizations that live on different planets, one on Mars, one on Europa, etc. You really think those guys will trust each other? You really think the Alliance of Jupiter's Moons will allow the Mars bitches to use Jupiters gravity?
The politics and bureaucracy will be out of this world.

The species that will populate the galaxy will not be human. Even if they will be our descendants, they will not share the things that make us human. Like pride, love, passion, lust, and fear.
