What's the closest thing we have to psychic abilities and/or magic? I'm not talking about what we can build and use, I'm talking about what we can do with our own bodies.

I'm a physics student and i am having a little trouble with impact theory, I'll post the question in a minute.
Basically i've searched wikipedia but i can't find the equation for working out if a celestial body is destroyed by an impact or not, i was hoping someone here might know.
this isn't a homework question, and i'm not interested in the answer , I just need to know the method, so that i will be able to solve similar questions if they come up in the exam.
