First year student here worried I fell for the engineering meme. I'm studying mechanical engineering and I enjoy it but find it really difficult. I'm in a fraternity and all my friends are pretty much comm majors and business majors. I just see them with endless free time always having fun. Is ticking it out and getting an ME degree worth it bros?

Why I always think it's impossible to ace an exam?

I may be very good at a subject, but I have a phobia of exams, I almost can never imagine to ace an exam.

When did you realize that because you didn't take school and studying as hard as you do now you will NEVER know what going to a top school is life

Imagine being on the forefront of knowledge and science. Imagine having the chance to contribute to the lexicon of human knowledge. If you just go a state school, even the best in your state, you will never know. You will always just be eating off the scraps of the Ivys. Sure, you may publish some irrelevant paper after 10 years of graduate work that nobody cites or even reads, but you will never write a book that people will want to read, you will never be interviewed, nobody will know you were even alive after you're dead.

And its all because of how you did in high school.
