Taking the dat afor back in August when infection rates were at their worst it was 573.50 (unvaccinated) vs. 169.69 (vaccinated) per 100,000, deaths were 3.03 (unvaccinated) vs. 0.53 (vaccinated)
According to this study, infection rates of masking vs. non-masking was 7% vs. 52%
>https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2022.07.28.22278153v1
According to this study, social distancing can decrease morbidity by 26% and mortality by 31%
>https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33924821/
Accroding to this study, mortality rate for low vitamin D was 25.6% while adequate vitamin D was 2.3%
>https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0263069
Looks like these measures could account for well over 100% of morbidity/mortality reduction currently attributed to vaccines

That's true and what I had thought as well.
I don't like to think like this but couldn't everyone who died to covid be considered "unfit" and were weeded out?

>>14772947
Isn't that a social thing? Would that also fit whitin natural selection?

How can i actually begin to understand math better?
I'm currently in my first semester and discrete/linear math is like an alien language so far. It's as if i have some mental block that doesn't want to understand any math.

What do /sci/?

How come /sci/ that I only hear of basic Algebra, some basic trigonometry here, some Calculus 1 there but never of any more advanced subjects like differential geometry and topology, group and field theory, number theory etc. Any 20+ maths student should be well acquainted with such topics or is /sci/ middle-school area?

Hey \sci\, how do I stay motivated to continue with math as a comp sci major? I love math but discrete is kicking my ass and my calc prof is hard to understand.
