Is it possible, if we get enough advanced at engineering, to send a planet to roam space?

Could we find a planet like ours, or terraform an ideal one so that we could put set amount of people on there, so that they can live only with the energy and materials that the planet has? And mounting movement and communication devices so that the people on the planet can calculate what is in front of them to avoid getting in the way of a star, planet or any other space object or gravity field that may interfer with the planets path. Launching them into the abyss to record what there is, and maybe another, more advanced civilization can help them, and we can tell them how to come to our solar system.

Well, get cracking. You'll need a magnet, tons of water, and lots more nitrogen.

how likely is it possible that a human civilization will be established on mars in the next 100 years

Because terraforming is ambitious and cool idea, though currently impractical, expensive and just a fantasy

Still it shows how far a civilization can come if they can reverse the course of nature and transform an entire world into a suitable, habitable environment for themselves. For all the benefits of artificial space stations, nothing beats out having another Earth-like planet we can live on
