The inflatable habs have a central rod that houses pressure tanks and shit that'll hold the air necessary to inflate the habitat. Maybe gravity might be an issue as you say, but I imagine that problem can be mitigated by inflating in midair before being laid into trenches via cranes.

Do you think the Bigelow BA-330 will be reincarnated in some form? And unlike the 3d printer meme, the inflatables concept has been proven to work in the form of the Bigelow expansive activity module.

The BA-330 has a metallic core section serving as a "spine" of sorts, so you wouldn't really have to worry aboht wobbling. I'd definitely give it a metal skin though.
