To re-iterate my previous correction (>>9240772), did the skin-tone averaging mechanism result from a mutation during the mating of a primitive hominid with natural skin and a primitive hominid albino? Elsewhere in nature, the pattern of fur, etc., is the result of a logical selection process: e.g., the individual kittens in a litter can have markedly different fur colorings, rather than an averaging of the parents, which seems to indicate a more advanced mechanism. My question is whether offspring that averaged the parents colors were selected by the parents in favor of offspring that had plain black or plain white skin, and is there a known genetic mechanism for the averaging of skin-tones rather than the random selection of the skin-tone of one parent?

Hey there, I've been thinking of something recently, this is embarassing, I don't want to be that kid with groundbreaking stupid ideas and I've never had any, I always found by myself why I was dumb, plus I'm only in high school so I don't think I'm on anything but I can't find a satifying answer by myself or on Google.
So I interested myself to topology recently and it made me wonder (wtf brain) : why don't we/is there any reason why we can't change our unities so we don't need constants like the gravitational constant G in [math]F_{A/B} = G\frac{M_{A}M_{B}}{d^{2}}[/math] (I hope that worked, first time I'm using LaTeX) ?
I mean this [math]\frac{a^{2}}{b^{2}} = \frac{1}{G}[/math] has an infinite number of solutions [math]a = \pm\frac{b}{\sqrt{G}}[/math] and [math]b = \pm\frac{sqrt{G}}{a}[/math] and all of them make the formula [math]F_{A/B} = \frac{aM_{A}aM_{B}}{(bd)^{2}}[/math] which just makes a new mass unity a times the kilogram and a new distance unity b times the meter. You do a system with all the equations we can use new unities for, and maybe we find a perfect set of unities, which is like, "more conform to the Universe" ?
This sounds so dumb, I'm ashamed that I put that much time into redacting this post, but I'm stupidly curious and I need an answer so I can get back to work on stuff and have nice grades to study interesting stuff.
