Ignore which data, exactly? Watson never cited any, so how do we know what his argument is based on?
I mean, it's not like he doesn't know how. Look at his papers on DNA, they have pages upon pages of references.

Listen to him talk about "scuttlebug transportation" at like 3:30.
He could have described the idea in plain English: "see this monster? if you let it hit you occasionally, it will chase you forever."
Instead he defines a set of rules governing its behavior, the concept of its "home" which is "updated", and the maximum chase radius, almost as if writing an academic paper. This was a great loss for science.

Scientifically, is it better to spend the extra time conducting research in a burgeoning and important field? Or should I spend the morning posting about IQ and racial genetics in /sci/'s six IQ threads?

Why is it I can make endless threads about IQ, race, and affirmative action, but linking to Science and Nature flag the spam filter?
