One from this paper https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2607318/:
"sympatric populations that can be inferred to show ‘dumbell’ or ‘bimodal’ distributions of genotypes at multiple loci, but which nonetheless are considered members of the same species"

More colloquially, it can be argued two subpopulations are distinct races when they have undergone some genetic differentiation but not enough to become distinct species. This paper is probably a good reference (paywall) :https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0306987709005374?via%3Dihub
As can be seen, humans have a high degree of genetic differentiation (despite (((lies))) ). Some things that are considered different species (chimp bonoho, human neanderthal) have lower genetic distance than Anglos and sub-Saharans.
