It does contribute new things to physicists, but it doesn't deserve a paper because Terry Tao and mathematicians in general are on another level.

If you disable sine and just look at the cosine, it makes the curve where it needs to go and return (when it approaches 1 and come back for example).
The same happens to sine, but it changes position in the X axis too, because it was dislocated (unlike cosine) so its harder to see.
