I guess the only point I was making is that the way to fight the stereotype that ivy league people are superhuman is NOT to create an equally false stereotype that they're all just trustfund legacy kids.

Having an ivy league education doesn't necessarily mean you're the next einstein, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're a stupid rich kid either. People who assume either one reveal that they have something to gain (usually pride) by blinding themselves to the reality that there are geniuses and retards at every ivy league school, state school, or community college.
