t. took a year and a half to find an engineering job, only managed to finally get one through a friend, and now work outdoors on construction sites for half as much as an electrician makes, doing mostly manual labor (HVAC controls engineer)

The worst part is that my job title is still "controls engineer" but I'm doing similar work to an electrician, only for half the pay of someone without a college degree because engineers aren't elligible to join their union.

It's been 60 F all January when it should be in the 20s and 30s . I think we may be entering thermal runaway due to methane releases and forest fire emissions.
