/sci/ needs to fucking go.
Either that or a calculus captcha to weed out the double-digiters once and for all.

>Current estimates: 2021(might even shit that date up) and 9,660 million $
Literally how the fuck did this happen?
I remember it being shilled on NatGeo documentaries when I was in middle school in the mid 00s.

>photon of alpha radiation
>beta photons
Made me do the 'ol thinkaroo
>iodising
So this is why people are given iodine tablets when exposed to fallout- so that alpha photons can't iodize their almonds.

So I've been toying with this idea and I wanna put some feelers out to see if you guys think people would be interested:

Popsci is great for the lays and all, but do you think there would be a market for popsci-ish videos but for people that are already science-literate?

>Example 1: a discussion on the significance of extraterrestrial chiral organic molecules & life, but assuming that my audience is physics/math/engineering students/professionals that don't know organic chemistry but aren't necessarily laypeople

>Example 2: a discussion of why violet (400 nm) appears to our eyes as an intermediate between blue (500 nm) and red (700 nm) despite the wavelengths not lining up. Again, the intended audience wouldn't be laypeople, but other scientists/engineers who don't know physiology/neuroscience

Don't just speculate only whether /sci/ would be into that, I think also reddit STEM normies would be part of the target audience

Maybe further down the line I could start consulting people on the math/physics/eng part of the spectrum, but my PhD was in organic chemistry so a lot of that is outside my court. Ideally this would be in the form of interviews instead of me trying to learn a concept and then explain it shittier (as often happens with these things)

Lemme know what you think
