I've invested 3 years of my life going for a chemical engineering bachelors. I originally wanted to go pure chemistry but I wanted to actually find a job when I graduate so I choose ChemE. I have no money so I've had to take out loans, and now that I've tried to get internships, met with people in the business all I'm finding out is how fucked I'm likely going to be once I graduate. I'll likely not find a job in something that I enjoy, so I'll have to settle for something that I loathe. It will end up paying me below what I was led to believe in my schooling years. There's a good fucking chance it requires me to move across country to live a shithole rural area with nothing anywhere for miles, and that's even if I find a job that can even be labeled as "engineering" let alone chemistry.

I hate coding but I honestly feel like I just should have gone with CompSci for the job security at this point. I don't even remotely have the cash to switch majors at this point so I'm fucked.
