As an individual the meaning of life is to maximize the spread of your genes to the next generation and then help the next generation to do the same.
Everything you do in between reproducing and raising your kid is passing time or maximizing your chances through strategies.

Of course since we're all humans, the vast majority of our genes are already similar and we don't have to go full tournament (even if sometimes we do, like when we do wars) and in fact have to work together to keep dominating all other lifeforms or just not going extinct.
