Scamalanche Energy is going to fail to demonstrate a net power fusion reactor. They claim they've made "fusion" but I could make fusion power in my backyard, and probably produce more reactions if I wanted to with my HV and vacuum junk.
Their "Orbitron" is a re-branded beam-on-beam concept, you need MASSIVE beam density to hope to come close to break even. And they don't even realize this.
From their own website:
>Crossing elliptical paths of ions provide millions of chances of fusion-relevant collisions before the ion loses energy and is moved out of the interaction space as it falls into the cathode and is removed from the chamber.
Meanwhile you need QUADRILLIONS of reactions to get any appreciable power from fusion.
But hey this is what happens when two faggot ex-Blue Origin engineers think they know better than 70 years of nuclear, plasma, and materials physics, eh?
