I like to think of 4chan as the Americas before they got colonized. It's an empty undefended playground that is about to get filled up by the interests of a few major powers and all of them will use it as a buffer to solve their issues. The Americans will push their version of jingoism, then the Chinese will hit back by hiring rivaling PR firms, then some discord server will feel the zeal to shill their snowflake ideology here, then stormfront will get triggered that they're losing ground and shit up /pol/ yet again, all the while t_d and leftypol are spraying diarrhea at each other. The end product of this is a sea of shills which is what we have right now. The only way to avoid this is to post normal on-topic threads that do not trigger the interests of any of these groups, which I've found to be quite informative coming from a place like this. Avoid the agitprop and especially avoid the threads that have an obvious agenda attached to them, outside of them 4chan isn't bad at all.
