Is there a way to get your brain to work as efficiently as it does on amphetamines while not on them? You wouldn't be doing anything you're not already capable of doing, and it would be akin to telling your computer to run at, say, 90% CPU speed that you know for a fact it can handle.

Physics PhD here. You guys on this board are close but off the mark.
Doesn't matter how much shit you learn, if you're a total sperg autist that people hate being around.
The companies you apply to get hundreds of applications for the same position.
Imagine all of them not being spergs and you get a good picture of your competition.

College isn't about learning a trade or skill. It's about developing a knack for thinking about a problem and solving it, as well as developing a discipline to learn new fields of study without help.
A lot of people will complain about professors not really teaching, but you're supposed to have come into the class already knowing 80% of the material.
