It is over.
We don't have ethnic stats but we track newborns from African and middle eastern parents (and South Italy and India), to test them for sickle cell disease.
We only test them when the two parents are from these areas, so mixed kids aren't counted.

Well the tested kids make up 40% of "french" newborns.


(Some people try to say these numbers aren't valid because some maternity centres around Paris test all their newborns (because the non-africans are too small a minority there), but pic related shows that the frequency of actual cases detected among the tested kids (incidence ciblee) went up, which means African ancestry among the tested went up.
