You have a pole going .9c. The pole's length is obviously contracted due to relativistic effects. it enters a portal and comes out behind its original location, so that it can go infinitely (see pic). Slowly, you apply a resistant force, and the relativistic effects go away. The pole "stretches" to longer than the distance between the two portals. What happens
