I'm using ALEKS provided by my uni to place into a maths class and it's the MOST FUCKING BORING SHIT I'VE EVER DONE IN MY LIFE. I just want to go onto Calculus already. I hate this shit. They're made in china. The eraser and lead is trash. the build quality is a low quality plastic that i can break just by throwing it against a wall or squeezing with my hand. the design is generic and not useful as the tip is not pointed and made out of plastic. the internal mechanism is not as well made as something from a Staedler, Rotring, Pentel etc would be. If we're going to compare the pencils in your picture to just a Twist-Erase, it's pants-on-head stupid to suggest that yours are better.

The twist erase has an erase that consists of probably ten of those tiny ones. You don't have to take the eraser out to add graphite. You can fit more graphite inside. It is made with higher quality materials, allows a more tactile click that will last as long as you own the pencil due to a better design with higher quality components. The internal design from yours allows for more wobble than it ever would on any draft pencil. it's also just not made for writing like a draft pencil is. the tip shape is just shit.

tl;dr your pencils are junk that any soccer mom will buy in a 10-pack for her gay son when he goes off to his liberal arts college for a BA in psychology because "he just gets people"

I would not live in such a society because it would be called anarchy, and I would bet that almost all of the anons that I replied to are in actuality university students that are bitter, or they are loonies that have no idea how our society works.

Do college-anons actually remember pre-algebra/algebra/geometry or do you just go through calculus and only remember what you're currently working on in school?
