a lil backstory: i practised stoicism when i had a lot anxiety and poor social skills. i was heavily dependant when it came to emotional health. but i want to learn about other philosophies too. what are other philosophies that focus more on ethics and would help me accomplish better in my life but sticking to em

Reading Odyssey, and our lost hero doesn't tell those who help him (Alcinous, etc.) who he is. Wouldn't it be better for our astray champion of the Trojan War to just tell other kangs that he himself is a kang?

Anyone care to give some recommendations on any philosophical/apologetic books by Greeks/Romans on the Greek/Roman religion/mythology. It seems most books I can find on the Hellenic religion are basically the mythology itself instead of apologetics. Where is the Greek Aquinas? Where is the Greek Augustine?

For example, the qualities of a single human finger are present to a greater extent in a whole human body.

Humans are an organic part of the universe that developed over millions of years of evolution. If humans, which are only a small part of the universe, exhibit the qualities of intelligence and rationality, then it follows that the universe as a whole possesses these qualities to a far greater extent.
