I was reading Fahrenheit 451 to my students the other day and Faber (the old man) mentioned smelling books, so I asked them all to smell their copies of the novel. They thought it was weird at first but I could tell they enjoyed it. I told them that I always smell my books and that the older yellow ones usually smell the best.
