Gunslinger to Wizard and Glass is pure King kino but the rest are really shitty.

Malazan book of the fallen is the only /lit/ fantasy series

I've had so many people who don't know what real literature is recommend it to me. Whenever they do they get this shine in their eyes, like there's no way I can be condescending to them about this book; they know this series is good. I tend to say something like: I've heard that's surprisingly okay.

I base my reading decisions entirely on who else is reading the book. I'm never reading the Dark Tower series, OP, and you're a weird nerd if you have done.

I'm glad I read it when I was a kid. I don't know if I'd enjoy it anywhere near as much now as I did back then.

The ending to TDT series was pretty shit from what I remember, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the adventures this transdimensional cowboy knight. I had also read a couple of his other books prior to it, so being able catch references from his other stories made it kind of fun.
