Its fucking awful actually, just this meandering mesa that goes for 800 pages a volume, but with 27 volumes planned nothing happens. At the end of 1 it looked like he was getting to something good, then at the end of 2 he still hadn't even come close to a plot, so I gave up. I loved House of Leaves and The Fifty Year Sword too.
