I did, my conclusion was that Kant did not offer sufficient arguments to overcome Hume's arguments but that academia latched on to his work because they represented the possibility of continued 'bread philosophy', since academia in general is a self-perpetuating entity that selects for theories not because of their validity but because they allow for more academic activity. This also explains why Hegel's nonsense was so popular and it explains what went on in French philosophy in the 20th century.

The primary interest of people who engage with philosophy as a profession is to keep the game going, they're like tobacco lobbyists preventing cancer research.
