Haha yeah I know what you mean OP. I listen to what people like harold bloom say about harry potter, and even though I'm not really knowledgeable enough to compare harry potter to the major canonical works on their literary merit, I still go by what people like harold bloom say when forming my opinions. That's because it's easier to just say what smarter people than me think instead of forming opinions of my own!
