Pessoa and Eça De Queiroz are quite known in Argentina at least.

Borges liked Eça De Queiroz quite a lot.

Saramago not so much, probably because he was a commie, and leftist literature was so popular here in the 70s that we are burned out of it. And people are cynical with regards to leftist literature coming from first world countries.


The only 2 Brazilians writers I know are Coelho and Vasconcelos.
