Halo is shit in any medium.
This is the only game novelization worth your time.

Wait, the game came out before the book?!
Why is it written all old-fashioned?

Halo: The Cole Protocol should go after First Strike and before Ghosts of Onyx

BioShock: Rapture
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
Metal Gear Solid

The Tom Clancy game books are a guilty pleasure of mine. Just shitty teen fiction, but they tend to be more enjoyable than actual Clancy's work, or a lot of other spy/military books.
