Haven't got it yet, but you can read the first paragraph on its Wikipedia page. Seems to be a prosimetric (prose and haikus) travel account, and probably quite unlike Calvino's book. I'm somewhat reminded of Hesse's Siddharta, both in terms of prose and subject matter.
