You mean, Venetian life? 's pretty cool I guess, slow moving. The constant need to either use boats or walk places creates somewhat of a time distortion, everything is dilated, every experience lasts longer, as does the "before" and the "after". If you're not much of a people person the tourists could annoy you, but in reality the city's really, really empty once you move away from the main roads and squares. Also, the libraries here are top fucking notch, especially the uni ones.
