I've been thinking about suicide often lately. Not considering it seriously; just thinking about it. I'm not in pain like DFW was, I'm not fighting a fight because there is no fight for me, luckily. I just feel numb and any real reason to be here people give seem superficial. I've only stuck around thus far because I enjoy the scenery every so often, I enjoyed that video for instance and I enjoy consuming art. Responsibility and clinical depression both suck though when they come knocking, that's the only contrary to 'may as well just stick around'.

Yes, and it wasn't anxiety, as I didn't feel anxious, I felt very very sad, and too tired to get out of bed most days, for several months, I just couldn't stop thinking negatively, mostly about suicide, indeed the reason I'm still alive is probably little more than I lacked the energy to pursue a competent means of killing myself. Shame really, as life since then hasn't really been worth the effort.
