Hi there fellas,

I'm the guy who promised to upload his pictures' folder earlier, sorry for the delay.
No idea if linking straight to the torrent will lead to issues with the mods, so just look on thepiratebay for "grebccvy", uploaded by b_hobbit; or hash F0EA176EEE44927649BCD29CDFFD90B3A257E388.
(Also, yes, I'm aware some of the pictures aren't paintings, and that there are lots of classics missing, and that the folder is a mess; no need to point that out)

Since the other thread hit the image limit, let's continue here and see if we can bring up some literature related pictures to discuss.

There's probably hundred of pictures based on the Quixote, but I've never found one that striked me the most as Picasso's version, it's simplicity translates so well the feeling of barrenness in the whole endeavour of the Quixote's quest that I can't help but be marvelled by looking at it and seeing how effective it is in giving an adequate atmosphere for such a huge novel with just a few lines.

On rereading that last sentence, I sure forgot to throw some pauses in there, sorry if you're out of breath by the time you're done reading it.

I really like this one too. From Dali's illustrations. Wish I could find one in a higher resolution.

You're welcome!

Anyone got painting/author's who did illustrative works based on native americans and their myths?
