I don't know if I am breaking some board rules but can you recommend me some books dealing with depression?

Steppenwolf by Hesse is another good one. The Stranger by Camus sort of does too, but I don't know if I'd really describe the main character as depressed. Atomised (or Elementary Particles) by Houellebecq is more vulgar, but easier to chew into and probably hits the nerve more painfully when talking about depression in a societal context (everything and everyone is shit, etc).
