Welp /lit/
I am 25 and I've never loved anything or anyone even though I've been living a rather ordinary upper-middle class life. I don't even think I understand this umbrella term. I am NOT an aspie/autistic and/or psychopath

So help me out. Recommend me some hard science, academic books on the subject.

Well for starters a definition of 'love'. For me this term doesn't make sense. It is an ambiguous umbrella term used synonymously for 20 other terms describing human condition/conduct in different situations.

To me, it bears resemblence to religious mumbo-jumbo used to obscure stuff.

love begins with desire and so you should watch movies.they do not have to be pornographic, in fact it is better to let general adult cinema teach you how to desire in a subtle way rather than feel the satiety and regret of viewing pornography. i would suggest Le Mepris as a good film to watch. let films open the desiring dimensions of your mind. also you might have a seratonin deficiency.
