Welp /lit/
I am 25 and I've never loved anything or anyone even though I've been living a rather ordinary upper-middle class life. I don't even think I understand this umbrella term. I am NOT an aspie/autistic and/or psychopath

So help me out. Recommend me some hard science, academic books on the subject.

>> No.2519333

there isn't any hard science for that, wtf

Like, you've actually never loved anything, or nothing has ever loved you back? I can't imagine no one has ever felt the emotion.

And what the fuck do you want exactly?

>> No.2519352

Well for starters a definition of 'love'. For me this term doesn't make sense. It is an ambiguous umbrella term used synonymously for 20 other terms describing human condition/conduct in different situations.

To me, it bears resemblence to religious mumbo-jumbo used to obscure stuff.

Academic books on... what?
Love? Desire? The absence of?

>> No.2519371

love begins with desire and so you should watch movies.they do not have to be pornographic, in fact it is better to let general adult cinema teach you how to desire in a subtle way rather than feel the satiety and regret of viewing pornography. i would suggest Le Mepris as a good film to watch. let films open the desiring dimensions of your mind. also you might have a seratonin deficiency.

Does a self-described nationalist/patriot love his nation/country?

I know what lust is and I've felt it allright. But western culture tries to convince me that love is something more.

If love is a feeling of a full ballsack then indeed I won't be needing any literature from you anymore.

yeah you are really over thinking it..don't let society tell you that your boner is a bad no-no..at some point in human history it is theorized that we were vertically symmetrical as well as horizontally so..the tail-bone a remnant of a sacral skull, the kidneys share analogous features with the lungs and the genitals, being engorged with blood, resemble a heart in this circulatory aspect..seriously love and lust are inseparable..other notions of love are based on more civic notions..religious as well.
>>2519388
no they don't love their country in a real sense.
