Literally right about everything. What's the point of reading any other philosophy?

>> No.22822909

Reading Wittgenstein, Spinoza, and Plato is all anyone needs to never get anywhere.

Why go anywhere if you got it all?

>he doesn't understand spinoza
if you'd actually read the ethics you'd know that extension is one of the infinite attributes of god, and that god can only be known to us through thought and extension; in this way spinoza both prefigures kant and also disproves him

I like all of them, but people on this board attach themselves too much to them whether it’s the “Philosophy hasn’t moved since Plato.” “It’s all one.” “Wittgenstein solved it all.” threads. It’s either that or the occasional Kant or Hegel person.

>> No.22823261

>>22823251
you can't "like all of them," you fence-sitting retard. if one of them is right then the rest of them are wrong.

>> No.22823341

>>22823261
I am a fence sitting retard, otherwise I would have chosen one already, but picking one too quickly is also a part of the trick. Plato makes me ask the most questions, Spinoza comforts me, and Wittgenstein makes me hate that I’m wasting my time on any of this at all. I wish I could pick one.

No shit, why else would they be here daily. That doesn’t stop people in the thread from agreeing. And they’re going at it in the post with idiots like me who are too autistic to resist the sentiment.

OP has never read Hegel. Hegel adresses Spinoza in The Pheomenology of Spirit and says that: If nature (as natura naturans and natura naturata) creates everything, then there simply is no spirit, the Selbstbewusstsein, to be found. And you wouldn't want to assume a world without spirit, would you, anon?

>inb4 nature = God, thus there is a spirit for Spinoza

Spinoza was called an atheist and had to fear for his life at his time for reducing 'God' to nature. Just a play with words he tried to save himself.

Nice bait, fag.

It was obvious for naturalists, but we live in a post tech age

Still extension of your nature into technology has potential

so this is the power of Hegelian "philosophy"
