Any advice? I'm pretty fucking dumb in general but I want to stop spending my time midnlessly browsing websites and investing it in something worthwhile

are you a kid? being into dinosaurs and ancient egypt / pre-columbian americas is pretty standard kid stuff. maybe download some great courses lectures on it, then get the books the professors name drop as important to the field.

Not really but I'm very into mythology and folklore in general which ended up making me more interested about ancient cultures

bro i have just the thing for you. my mom got me this book when i was a kid, and now decades later as an adult i still keep it whenever i move. it's the only book from back then. really nice global survey of pre-historic and ancient material culture.
