Atheism is the absence of a belief or faith in gods, afterlife and eternal soul. It isn't a church, though the sciences have been misused by the state for their own purposes, and weak minds tend towards near deification of things. We do tend to rest our beliefs on things, though they are changing. It is best, an atheist should say to themselves, to remain open minded and flexible.

Why are there so many believers, why do people believe in god? Humans lived for thousands of years in tribes whose members decorated their houses with the skulls of their slain enemies believe this close him to gods, and any natural phenomena were explained by the gods kindness/anger.
