Anecdotally I know plenty of people in Europe who shower daily. However, it's not recommended to do so since you peel of the protective oils and bacteria from your skin making it unhealthy and more prone to diseases and infections.

Imagine not exercising daily. I heard that europeans couldn't afford gyms or gaming pcs or cars though. I guess having to ride a bicycle like an 8 year old is kind of almost exercise. Your heart rate gets up to like 80bpm maybe.

Since covid I only shower mon, wed and fri, which are the days I got to the gym, before that I showered every day. Exception is if I get dirty/sweaty any other day, obviously, and if I go out on the weekend, which happens most weeks. So I usually take 4 showers a week I guess.

I understand that you might like to feel clean everyday, and it makes perfect sense to shower daily, but if you NEED to shower everyday to not smell you're disgusting, not the other way around, especially if every deodorant sold is marketed as 48h nowadays.
