It's always the same thing in principle though -- a learning algorithm that fails thousands and thousands of times just to beat a level of Super Mario.
Even calling them 'learning' algorithms is kind of a meme. They have no contextual understanding of anything at all. Algorithms are great for linear, solvable problems like chess but they're heavily oversold by tech startups on almost anything else.
AI art isn't any different, it's a trial-and-error plagiarism bot. It's going to iteratively create very serviceable fanfiction and detailed but derivative assets.

I worked for 15 years in a dozen of different warehouses, going from ground work to team-leader and have met a wide variety of people, the funniest are always the "artistic" types.

1. Worked with a half-baked hippy, who tried to make it in music, when I looked up his profile I heared one of the worse and uninspired dreg I have ever heared. Guy claimed because he is artistic he needs to use drugs, a guy I worked with kept asking him "when you where doing drugs, you had to suck cock to support your habit didnt you" after a while he said he did and we all left him alone.

Weird flaky brown girl who smoked far too much weed, kept hugging people and spreading love, she could really draw and wanted to become a tattoo artist, though had no tats herself, kept becoming more emotional, until I had to fire her, after a month of emotional scenes and her loudly singing hallelujah during work.

3. Another musician/writer, shy and friendly, but boy was he forgetful, he couldnt keep his focus, so there where days where every pallet he collected had errors, he was fairly strong, so made him do bulk order and just recount, but he had the annoying habit of having to listen to music all the time. Tried working with him because I liked the guy but my boss fired him.

4. Weirdest bitch I ever had the displeasure of working with, completely and completely covered in tats, piercings, weird haircuts, etc complete sociopath, kept flirting constantly, telling lies, coming on to people and then stonecold ignoring them, did her work really well, always showed up on time.
