Not editor, but pretty much everything is accepted (you're going to notice that once you get to the rest of this issue). I'd like to see more serious high-quality entries in future editions, especially since editor has mentioned material drying up a bit. The low-quality shit can be fun--Crab Gregor was retarded enough to make me lmao--but the ESL shit puts me off a little bit. C'est la vie, homie. Work a little and submit something you want to write.

The plus side of the anything-goes approach of &amp is that you can send in whatever you want. I type-set my own entry and editor took it pretty much as-is, and likewise I've had ads/posters included in the last couple issues. Last issue had a dream about infinite people-turned-cocks (which I liked a lot), and this issue has someone's class essay on Joyce, so what you do is up to you. I'm certain comics and etc.--whatever you can set in print--would also be accepted. It's no accomplishment getting into &amp, but it's fun drumming up stuff to submit and I think it gives an interesting unfiltered perspective. Editor does a really good job putting all of it together to be somehow coherent.

To me it read sincerely, like the lust was reeking off of it. Have you read "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man"? I agree, I really shouldn't have singled out the ESL stuff. It's interesting to see what people on here come up with when they dedicate time to it, and it's exciting to come across the really exceptional pieces. More than anything I wish people would contribute and read more. Critique after a release would be fun, but it could also kill the joy of accepting everything.

I don't have one yet, I'm editing my novel now before beta reading, then more editing, copyediting, proofreading, then a submission to an agent with the letter. I could tout my managerial experience at work and all my other degrees but it's not writing related so I haven't heard if that is really helpful to my bio. I might try throwing some of my short stories at journals in the meantime just to show that I'm serious.
