Some women will just get frigid about sex, but others try to cope by treating sex as no big deal, and may actually get into porn to try to cope with the bad experience. Or worse, becoming a hooker.
I think the damage is done, and they’d be better off not monetizing it. Decoupling love from sex is sad sometimes, even if they are two separate things

>rape fetish (as in fantasizing about being raped), is that unhealthy?
More information needed because there is an argument that fits into a broader dialogue about sex, kink, and rape all being about control and power.
Subs actually have the power, because they write all the little scripts for their doms to follow, and the whole idea of a "safe word" is indicative of who really has the power.
Similarly there's an idea in a sort of role-playing sense that a rape fetish could be a way of "taking back power".
This isn't as weird as it sounds, because there is also something to be said about Exposure Therapy where progressively by introducing someone with a legitimate phobia, like say, a lizard - and getting you to actually pet the lizard one day and hold it is a means of getting rid of the phobia. In the same way, role-playing with rape might be a way of recontextualizing the memory of the trauma in a form that they can "manage" and be "at peace" with in a way not dissimilar to learning to be to afraid of holding a lizard by progressive exposure.
Of course, I'm neither a pscyhologist nor a rape victim, nor am I into Kink so I am just pulling this out of my ass.

I know people have already told you this but: you dodged a bullet. Imagine if you had to actually married her and then finally admitting to yourself (because there would be a long period of motivated denial) that she was motivated by materialism. Imagine day to day the conflicts that would cause in your relationship, arguments over how to spend money, over whether you're making enough. The petty way she would deliberately splurge on your credit card when you tell her she's spent too much already as her way of making a "point".

Any chance I could get a (you) here?:
Sam K, a girl who grew to fast for middle school, hated her huge, fat, incredible tits. I was in eighth(?) grade, and I thought if I could just rest my tired eyes upon that bosom, I would be able to vanish from all the world, and happily. Unfortunately for me, and all other men of integrity, grace, and warmth, we made too much fun at her expense and she lost those perfect scribbles through an intense weight loss program, and she switched schools. We just wanted her to understand how much we appreciated God and her for bringing us so much happiness. Maybe Thunder Thighs, Wonderwoman, and Milktruck came across as offensive and demeaning.
Anyway she lost the damn things. I don’t know how, but I saw her years later and she was flat as a board. The world grew a little darker that day. Yeah Theodore, the light went out that day, I know, but you didn’t fucking see them okay, you didn’t know what she took from us. It isn’t fucking fair. God is a sinning lying sack of shit for doing that, and don’t toss any Job shit at me neither, I don’t have the time, nor the inclination for strategic thought at the moment, yeah, yeah I get it, okay, I get it, your right, I know there is more to life than whatever weird first boner type story I have going on here. But still Theodore Roosevelt, you missed out man. You were born in the wrong time, and I know you would have been a man of integrity, like me, if you saw that dumbass teenager - what - hating her life, just because a bunch of admirers decided to constantly drink milk in front of her? You know, there's a reason why I ended up a good two inches taller than my brother, and it's thanks to her and the things we did to try and cheer her up. Oh I’m sure you would have been there beside me Theodore, Teddy old pall, I'm sure you would have been right there in the trenches, printing out photo-shopped pictures of her where we add nipples and stuffed them in her backpack when she went to the bathroom. God, could you imagine us double-teaming a chick together Teddy? Could you?
Imagine if things got out of control on one of our boys nights and you and I just went to town on some stone cold killer chick with enormous tits. Would you have high-fived me back, Theodore? God, why did she have to cut those tits off. If she had kept them, I would have married her, and been faithful too. Nothing would have gotten in the way of our happiness. Food for thought Teddy.

Oh hell no, I know there's still a lot of history you need to work through but you musn't allow her to live rent-free in your mind like that.
Also if you were a real dick, what you could do is simply carefully curate your social media to give the impression that you were doing 10x better than you really are to make her seethe. Happen to walk past a Lambo one day, get a selfie with you sitting on the bonnet.
But even that I wouldn't recommend because that wouldn't be moving on. I'm not saying you shouldn't have ambition and try to live the best and most accomplished way you can: but don't do it to spite some bitch you doesn't deserve you.

If you christen a bird with a little paper hat, every morning without fail, and you tie a little string to keep it there, eventually, eventually, you have a neighborhood’s worth of flits and robins ready to do your bidding and listen to all your problems, because, after all, you gave them a free hat.

If you keep them around long enough, they’ll eventually go wherever it is that birds go during the winter (underground?) and that's really tough to get through. Whenever it starts to get cold I start to get lonely.

I had a bird come back from the underground bird zoo thing I assume they all stay at. Only once though. I usually have to make new friends in the spring.

I don't want to get too into the details for the sake of anonymity, but what's worse is that he worked at a vaguely religious institution and they actually lived there, so not only is the marriage wrecked, he is not allowed to come back home and his family has 30 days to leave.

I'm terrified of cheating. Recently I've been delving into these all these forums, for cheaters and for the people they cheated on, and just reading stories. It's really changed how I look at relationships and now I'm terrified of trusting people and even trusting myself. I don't want to be put in a position where my loyalty to my hypothetical spouse is put to the test because I'm not sure if I'm strong enough not to cheat. What's worse is I'm not sure I'm strong enough to leave whoever would cheat on me.

If you run your fingers around the concret rim of the pool enough times, eventually a barrier made wholly of clay will ring us, and things will be quiet again. Enough times means seven or eight, usually. Did you miss me? I missed you. I have imagined this moment on at least four occasions, and every time my mind convinces me that you missed me back. So tell me you did. I don’t want to hear about the underground zoo any longer. No. I said no. You didn’t miss me at all did you, you fucking liar. Somehow a part of my brain thinks this has to be based but I'm beginning to feel the fear growing in my stomach. The people I'm going to work with also recruited me because they thought I was going to do a masters in the same field, except I actually won't because shortly after being recruited I realized having a masters in that field will make me unemployable in my country.

Control? I can't think of any specific examples, but I'm sure as a teenager I would have done something similar. And I can only surmize that moronic destructive impulse would have come out of a frustration with my perceived (and in my case very actual) lack of agency and feeling of control.
To knock over something, especially if it is functionless (or perceived to be) like a work of art or something in this very wrongheaded respect can be an edifying source of a feeling of control. Because you changed something.
More especially if it contains sunshine and smiles. I personally hate things that say stuff like "you are beautiful" or "you're good enough". It absolutely makes my skin crawl. I don't know what you made or how it was perceived, but I suspect it was a innocent victim of a sense of spiraling lack of control or agency in someone's life (and not to victim blame but: maybe if they weren't so destructive, they would have more control over it?)

Should you accept the replacement of your culture as an inevitable phenomenon? Part of me wants to not give a single fuck about all of this because I'm not even European or American. The truth is, multiculturalism has existed for hundreds of years in all of North and South America, since the Europeans first arrived and imported millions of african slaves, changing the ethnic and cultural background of the continent forever, sealing its fate. Lets use Latin America as an example, a land full of inequality, crime, poverty and social differences that can be traced back to the colonial period were people were seperated into social class and caste. Despite all of this, Latin America has been able to produce excellent writers and poets. Now, with Europe I would assume the situation to be bit different, perhaps. In just a few decades Europe went from being majority European christian to a diverse multicultural and multireligious society, France for example is now around 10% black and who knows what % muslim. Historically speaking, migrations have always occured, ethnics groups belonging to different empires and nations have always fought wars, displacing, replacing or integrating into other foreign tribes, this can be traced back to the Roman times and their wara against the germanic tribes or even tracing back farther to the neanderthals and homo sapiens. However, can we predict the outcomes of such massive migrations into Europe? Perhaps we can think of Brazil or the US as clear examples of the future that awaits for the European continent, a social and political chaos filled with ethnic and religious tension and disputes between different groups.

Will this be the end of western type of intellectualism, art and literature? What can we expect of these abrupt social changes taking places in countries that have historically produced some of the greatest thinkers to ever exist?
Discuss

I don't understand the question, your death is inevitable, does that mean you shouldn't exercise and eat healthy. Every culture has a finite lifespan. Every culture will be replaced.
>Europe went from being majority European christian to a diverse multicultural and multireligious society,
I think that grossly oversimplifies the many different types of sects, cultural and linguistic distinctions that marked the complex fabric of Europe for centuries. France itself if I remember correctly, out of the entire kingdom less than 10% of the population spoke French before the revolution.

>Every culture will be replaced.
We know that this is one of the most prevalent events in human history. The queation is,do you think that we can use certain countries that have been subjected to extreme ethnic and/or religious replacement as examples in order to envision the future of the European continent and western civilization? The idea that cultural replacement is a natural anthropological event and therefore should be accepted along with its consequences as a part of natural societal change is a foolish and preposterous idea. Take into consideration that the refugee resetlement is being pushed by NGO's like Soros Open Societies foundation, think tanks like the WEF, the UN, etc etc, that have already organized an idea of how society should work for future generations and have also influenced the public to accept these paradigm shifts as part of human nature. Billions of people coming from Africa and other third world countries are going to be resettled as climate refugees into Europe and possibly the americas in the next few years, all with the aid of all these billionaires and their agendas.

Being unlucky begats weakness in a very physiological sense.
Blood Glucose is your 'energy level'. Your brain consumes a lot of the glucose in your blood, the more you "think" and "focus" the more it uses up.
Your immune system also uses a lot of Glucose, and when you're fighting off illness or repairing tissue that can take away the energy needed for cognition.
If you're unlucky you're more likley to have money problems. This can cause you to enter a state that everybody knows, we call it "stress". Among other things when you're stressed you have elevated cortisol levels. Cortisol breaks down muscle to convert it into blood glucose. Stress obviously elevates your heart rate, to get the energy to where it needs to be quicker. This is fine in small bursts but if you live under constant uncertainty, such as living paycheck to paycheck, or in a abusive relationship or a war zone or have a demanding job you will probably be chronically stressed. That means not only is your body constantly pumping cortisol that breaks down muscles, not only that it means that your blood pressure remains elevated which can cause tears to form in your blood vessels where cholesterol (another symptom of elevated metabolism) can build up. If you were more relaxed then the body would spend blood glucose on repairing these torn tissues in your vessels and other organs. But you don't so it doesn't, which causes cascades of health problems, that probably mean you can't work "as hard" anymore and compromise your earning power. While the blood glucose being used constantly trying to fight off stress induced health problems means you make poorer decisions than you might. You also have less muscle mass because of the cortisol.
Yeah, being unlucky makes you weak.

>do you think that we can use certain countries that have been subjected to extreme ethnic and/or religious replacement as examples in order to envision the future of the European continent and western civilization?
No because I think the European dream is a fiction: it is not a homoegenous and unified socio-political entity and therefore it's "future" will vary regionally (an extreme example will be how Paris and London's destinies will be vastly different from the socioeconomic trajectories of those places around them).
Western Civilization is too nebulous to be useful as a subject of prediction. Is Capitalist China with their embracing of mass production, mass media, materialism an example of Western Civilization? Are the Nordic countries that have a vastly different government system and social values to the United States part of the same club? Is the Orthodox Catholic Divide really all part of the same 'Civilization'?
You can't even look at individual nation-states as homogeneous units, like I said, the future of London will be very different from say Birmingham or Glasgow.
So to "envision the future of the European Continent and Western Civilization" is a Scheinproblem which conflates vastly different elements with vastly different futures (and presents, and pasts) into a single fictional entity.

What about European art? Literature, music, philosophy? Just look at classical music, it emerged and took form as a purely European/Western art form, despite countries that have been historical rivals each with if own unique and different culture like Germany and Russia producing some of the best classical composers, sharing the same unified and systematic form of art. This could also be applied to European philosophy and literature, especially since european philosophy is already cataloguized as western philosophy given that its built on top of each other going back to the greeks.

That's not even halfway near a truth;

I used to post and talk a little on /history/ but the endless threads about hitler or some various white soup delusions gt bored, and that place seems to be taken over by cathtards, this place doesn't seem to be as infested by that same depressive type,

but bearing in mind 4chan is probably the last actual free speech place on the englihs language internet then you can expect a heady mixture of ideologues trying to demoralize people (who are the majority of shit posts) along with actual human beings who they come here to demoralize.

It's the broken window theory, or whatever that was called, where they learn they can do it on one place and the crime slowly spreads to all nearby neighborhoods.

I mean, it is disturbing that they can infect and dissuade other people who don't understand the process of what they're doing but... this isn't so different from anything else in real life,

understand the personal politics basis behind the shit post as stemming from,
1) if they cannot refute you or raise no argument in 10 replies, then you are obviously right
then
2) their shitpost is targeted not for you but for the off chance that other people scroll and see what they say, so as to make others think your original position is unpopular or crazy to make them think twice before saying something like that themselves

e.g. i've mentioned cathtards in this post, so i might expect a few short word responses like,
>reddit spacing
>ESL
or
>text wall
failing that, when the subject becomes more detailed then,
>autist
>schizo
>incel

it's all politics. And it should be obvious to anybody anyway that if, anywhere, someone can't actually challenge you on the content of what you've said and they want to attack you somehow (with no arguments i mean, no cases made), then they already know you're right.

Bearing this in mind however, it seems hard for the honest person to actually realize this is the case and they're inclined to take low quality responses as if they were legitimate; which is the single aim of the shit post, to demoralize and dissuade (from xyz subject).

virtually everybody in some manner or another is raised to make mistakes tough purposeful deception on pat of influence or from simple lack of education; some mistakes are worse than others, but each mistake tends to fire off a sequence of other seemingly unrelated problems as consequence.

A good way to consider it is that it's baseline stupidity rather than weakness or luck. 'And' that most people, for want of being polite, don't bother to point out the first mistake before or when it's taking place.

>It's difficult meeting with them because all these things pop up, and it can be a little tiring.
yes. yes this is true.

depressive people can be cancerous ... they don't even mean to be, i don't think; they just cannot help it but attack or try to demoralize when they see somebody who avoided their mistake.

The last thing I want to do is accept it, but it does appear inevitable. It's a terribly tragic thing to see, not just in Europe but in every historic instance of demographic replacement. It's the irreversible destruction of a long established ecosystem by purposefully introducing an invasive and incompatible species, it's sad and malicious. My countrymen (Welsh) are already an endangered species as is, so I'm not looking forward to the likely prospect of seeing my people be replaced during my lifetime. I'm pretty sure it's already the case that there are more Muslims and Africans in Britain the Welsh people, and the demographics of Wales is changing rapidly. It's a very grim and surreal thing to witness.

male as spirit, female as physical. To be reborn into physical realm, must have child (though not necessarily "re-infused" into your son, or even reborn as a human, but at least reborn into the physical realm.) to be reborn in the spirit realm is to have not had intercourse with a female (one that results in a child, at least). So, either for reasons of celibacy (e.g. priests), or practice of ascetism in general, (maybe even for being gay?), or spiritual alchemy (which is so obsessed on "gold", like the Pirates of the Caribbean, which is all just an elaborate story retelling this truth
The pirates are all men. At least for the first movie. The cursed pirates i'm referring to specifically, not just the average pirate, like Jack Sparrow. They can't be killed, because they're not physical. Moonlight "shows them for what they really are" because the moon symbolizes the feminine, and females can "spot a gay man" because they naturally assume that normal men want to have sex with anything that has tits. Now, as to whether the pirates/gays are actually cursed, specifically the pirates that have "set sail on the Ocean and crossed to the Other Side", that is up for debate. No doubt there will be one group that says it's awesome to be gay, or to be completely free from girls and their cooties, and another camp that says womenz be awesomez. As far as the movie itself is concerned, it definitely asserts that being gay is a curse, that being separated forever from feminine is a damned existence, likened to hell or purgatory. It is why Captain Barbossa (the leader of the cursed pirate crew) is obsessed with the idea of eating apples, and loves to see the girl (Elizabeth, who they captured) eat in general, but especially to eat the apples. The apples symbolize "sex", "coitus", the act of joining with a real female (not the transexual type), just as they do in the Bible and so many other literary and religious writings. According to the opinion of the movie, Jack getting marooned on the island is the equivalent of when Adam (of Book of Genesis) was marooned on Earth. Getting marooned a second time, with Elizabeth, is the part in Genesis where Eve is created, to keep Adam company. At least they have a roaring fire (fire of hell? either way, they both seemed eager to escape that island/planet/earth). The cursed pirates could only end their existence as spirits if the blood of William Turner (aka Will Turner, an influencer of peoples' willpower? or maybe the name is a reference to a sort of Everyman, whose will changes as the wind and currents change, the ultimate average person, the hero and the journey/quest that all heroes by definition are on?) So if the spirits men/cursed pirates desperately want to return to flesh, to the physical realm, return to having sex with women, then it means that being a spirit isn't all it's made out to be.

>> No.20514815

>>20514811
It's not gold, but cursed gold. It's becoming an eternal ghost, able to see but not to touch. Hollow and ephemeral. Only women give physical reality.
But, men contribute something too. Men may be invisible, and have no physical reality, but they do have a metaphysical reality, like ideas/concepts. Good and evil are concepts, which means there are good and evil spirits/ghosts/metaphysical ideas. Angels and demons. When you read about evil stuff in the news, that's evil spirits and evil "cursed pirates" (as opposed to the good ones) that influence the realm of the physical. "Evil" in the female sense would be more like natural disasters, evil that is caused in the physical realm, outside the influence of the male, whose realm of influence is the kingdom of ideas, the metaphysical. Nature- oceans, trees, mountains, clouds, strong winds, lava, are examples of physical female). It is why when Calypso was freed, she summoned a whirlpool and storm. It is the only way she COULD help. Men can only influence peoples minds, not create storms. But they can "in a way" summon up a storm, through "magic" by convincing the female to. A male that has power over the storm (e.g. many shamans, vampires - especially the male variety, Jesus and quite a fair "few" mythological and religio-historical figures throughout Europe, Africa and Asia, and elsewhere) is then a male who is either closest to, or at least close ENOUGH to Female and the Feminine that he can communicate with them succcessfully and get them to obey his commands. Now whether any woman will do, or a specific woman definitely depends. Elizabeth is the hero's version of the Male's Calypso. Maleness, the Masculine Principle itself, the Ghost, the Metaphysical, is represented by the cursed pirates, and maybe even by squid man (who seemed to have the power to not die, and the power to walk through physical barriers, to survive under water, in the "Ocean" of outer space, but not on "Land", in the physical realm. It could be all females are "one female". The hero is the main subject of the story, the protagonist. The story is "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus", and it's all about a guy, confused in what he wants, a real "will turner", fickle as Jack Sparrow's compass when he wants more than one thing.

The Bible would (or so it seems to me) to be a telling of the tale from a different angle. From the men's side. Can anyone cite a classic Freudian Oedipal reading of Lolita, does it even exist? Is "Lolita" the ultimate anti-Oedipal text, or is it its own affirmation by contrasting/phenomenally paradoxical means? Is "Lolita", in short, not the reverse of what it purports to deny, namely the primacy of the son's lust for the mother and by extension the father's murderous hatred? Who really kills whom in this tale? Is it Humbert who represents the sexual tyranny of the father whose authority he has sought to usurp for himself, making him the agonizing focus of the tale, haunted by an implicit mise en abyme of such tales, the "human condition" as such, or is it Lolita, using the Humpty Dumpty patsy/fall guy to murder her mother and sleep with her stepfather, literally? And for what literary theoretical/rhetorical purpose? Is it just Humbert's oedipal fantasy ("life is but a dream", in which the male, brought under the symbol of "father"/"mother" literally dreams the female) a la drag, or is it a real and pure case in se of the true nature of the female dynamic? According to which it was the normative procedure/right of the father to wed the daughter, according to his legal ownership over her, and of course over her mother before her? Humbert, in gaining ownership over Lolita, simultaneously gains sexual authority over her, in accordance with the obvious and inherent natural rights of man, which operated even in Greco-Roman antiquity. Lolita, for her part, removes the artificial obstacle that is the relatively recent civil accretion against incest with the father, conspiring to use the father to correct the imbalance that is the mother's obstructive presence, thus achieving the completion of her union with the father figure, the completion of her ownership of him (i.e., of her being now fatherless). However, per the act of actually consummating her idealized union with the father, Lolita becomes either/or a menace/monster in the eyes of bourgeois law and society, and therefore must compensate for her monstrosity by transferring her guilt to the scapegoat that is the father, thus destroying him in turn. However, even this scapegoat is not sufficient, and so Lolita must continue on the course of destroying each new potential father figure, i.e. male romantic partner, in order to continue to satisfy her unconscious desire for innocence after successfully hating and destroying her mother. Lolita, in short, represents the death drive that lies at the heart of the European Christian conception of the mother, especially when decompensated by the elimination of the Christian counterweight...

>> No.20514854

>>20514832
...Without the counterweight, Lolita becomes the death drive at the heart of the de-Christianized Western father-mother-daughter triad. This, in short, is at the very heart of the dual anti-masculinist anti-feminist transgender cult raging in the West, as this new cult aims to break the deadlock of the aforementioned family triad centred on the incestuous ownership of the father over the daughter and the simultaneous initiation of the daughter into womanhood, eliminating the reality of the existence of a native daughter as such. And leaving in its place a void, a cipher, an unreadable enigma - the very stuff of taboo legends. What happens when a man, a father, sleeps with an enigma, something that is inherently neither male nor female, to which he is carnally, familially bound? The answer, is that he has usurped/occupied something to which he has no natural right, as the eunuch and hermaphrodites are not meant for him, but always for the gods entirely. Who are the "gods"? In the present context, they are the transhumanist masters of the future, acting as if they already exist, in the Nick Ladian sense, because they may in fact already exist. We are thus confronted with Deleuzian anti-Oedipus in a very real and literal, all too literal sense, whereby the transhumanist revolution in the West is being realized in the most subtle way through an attack on the profoundly unconscious symbols that have informed and sustained it for millennia. The prohibition of incest only makes sense in this way, from the very natural law of incest that preceded it. Trans-ideology destroys the very right of the natural law of father-daughter incest and therefore the need for a secondary law of prohibition, returning man not to the Eden of his birth, but to a new anti-incestuous union dissolved in the insignificance of prohibition as such, i.e. in the indifference of father mother daughter son, etc. into absolutely interchangeable, hence unimportant/useless residue: the echo of a babble whose true meaning is no longer audible, because its truth has been replaced by the law of scientific transformation as such. Reality thus becomes fully a function of science, automated by artificial intelligence fully liberated from human will and ushering in the age of mindless robotic necessity, by which natural determinism closes and definitively seals the aberration that was human will acting in the universe in ways not fully understood and which Aristotelianism has done so much to systematically deny. Artificial Intelligence is the completion of the Aristotelian project, the Stagirite ontological malady that has been rectified and made man's prison, and the destruction of his true nature by its folding and hiding in the amnesiac new age of the intelligent but humanly unfree machine.

I have a foot dilemma. My gf has really hot feet and she keeps flaunting them. She puts them up on the table when we watch tv, and she never wears socks so they're always exposed. On one hand I want to lick them, but on the other hand I can't bring myself to ask her to let me do that. I don't want to be a foot creep, but every glance at her toes is another log on the bonfire of my desire. I can't stand it. To run my tongue up and down her soles—I honestly think I would ejaculate immediately.

>Men can only influence peoples minds, not create storms. But they can "in a way" summon up a storm, through "magic" by convincing the female to.
I kind of like the root of where this notion is coming from; it's a comment on the contemporary highly dysgenic non-adult form of 'western masculinity' which relies on female validation and seeks to exploit women as weapons or tools to one-up over other equally minded males.

see, now, this is why ottoman pirates could jut walk into european towns and round up the people as slaves and find nobody capable of resistance;

this kind of males mindset is rooted in female validity as 'if' it was required; it's a social construct, like: that man believes that by constructing a sense of female approval for X and approval for Y that other men will obey it and he, therefore, can utilize the dynamic against other men - except it only exists in his head; as a weapon and a tool it doesn't work at all on out-group but seems to be all powerful to in-group, hence it is dysgenic because it relies upon the weakening 'of' the in-group to any out-group.

> ("life is but a dream", in which the male, brought under the symbol of "father"/"mother" literally dreams the female)
There's a good point here in old world thought here to be found in the concept of Minerva as a construct;

in reality she; that is: the woman the man desires (carrying weapons, super intelligent) doesn't exist as Minerva is a construct of Jupiters imagination which is imposed over the reality of Women; leading Men to 'wish' it was different and thereby misplace their ambition or sense or need for validity into Women.

>Humbert, in gaining ownership over Lolita, simultaneously gains sexual authority over her, in accordance with the obvious and inherent natural rights of man, which operated even in Greco-Roman antiquity
That's not true of Lolita at all; HH is being used by her at every step, that's why he goes mad when his sense of things reach a point of extreme dissonance to the reality of the situation happening around and to him;i.e. he has begun with a faulty premise and followed through on it.

> However, per the act of actually consummating her idealized union with the father, Lolita becomes either/or a menace/monster in the eyes of bourgeois law and society, and therefore must compensate for her monstrosity by transferring her guilt to the scapegoat that is the father, thus destroying him in turn.
i.e. he sex with a pig, honored it and hoped it would blossom into a princess, and was deeply disturbed when it went back to eating from the slop bucket and crapping on the floor.

His distress, then, was the return of actual reality versus his hopes.

What can be said of The Unknown? For one,The Unknown is the counterpoint to The Absolute (the sum of all being, actual and potential;) it is the differential of becoming; it is an endless and ever-changing horizon. It is the massiveness of existence beyond my apprehension and anticipation, both in the present and in the future as a sea of potentiality. In a sense all that I am consciously aware of is The Unknown; stimulus that is constant and predictable quickly falls from conscious awareness and becomes subconscious and automatic habit. The Unknown has the quality of aliveness to it: it is a perpetual springing-forth. Communion with The Unknown is found in questioning, in engaging in lines of inquiry that apprehend new possibilities previously undisclosed. The Unknown is the big question mark that keeps us on the move, forever becoming, never complete.

maybe small penises was selected for by people since it coincided with more sexually repressed societies, which then led to higher levels of civilization (as people focused on other things, like art, technology, farming, etc.).
And then people that focused on big dicks and whatnot became lower on the civilizational totem tree (think african tribe level).

whatever the case may be, being envious of a guy with a big dick is pretty gay. Provide for a woman with enough material stuff, and she won't even care about your 4 incher. Plenty of 4 inchers with a loyal wife. The fact that 4inchers abound is proof that they keep reproducing, and they keep reproducing because women (or a lot of them) ultimately prefer a man with a job that can support them, more than they care about a big dick.

I'd argue that a lot of our problems stem from a bias towards integration (summation of parts) over differentiation, expressed in one way as the favoring of answers over questions. Questions are viewed as the absence of an answer, a lack, when they truly are movements of becoming: lines of inquiry. When a line of inquiry is answered, more questions emerge, such that the process continues indefinitely. Truth is an unreachable horizon that can be strived towards, but never reached, because of the ever-changing and relational nature of things. The Unknown cannot be erased, and that's a good thing.

Being is a habit of mind or matter - a regular tendency or repetition - this is to say that it is an integration over time (a summation of behavior.) Being and becoming are co-equals in the process of reality, and are found in calculus (the mathematical study of change) as integration and differentiation. This isn't an abstraction, these are fundamental modes of change-perception: that of instantaneous change in an omnipresent experiential moment (present-mindedness, the perception of "now") and cumulative change over time (our perception of past, present, and future; the narrative and linguistic mode of thinking.) These are also operations of an evolutionary process: exposure to novel sense-data in the present moment mutates our experience, while the integrative temporal-minded mode is selective, choosing items of experience for emphasis according to a goal. Also we can do more than just be passively mutated by the present moment: by asking questions and following the resulting lines of inquiry we can apprehend new information and experiences.

The mindset of this envious guy is basically "whatever the girl wants is what i want too, since i want the girls".
Not about what will placate them temporarily, but give them everything they want so that "i can then be lady's man to the max".

If it was just a matter of "size" itself, he could just wear a strap on. But the girl would laugh in his face (most would anyways). Girls don't want a substitute, they want the real thing. And munching is just another substitute (better than a strap on sure, but still not the same as big dick).

So just go the other route instead, and stop being a lady's man, stop obsessing over it, stop caring about what woman want, and just pour resources into one woman who is smart enough to realize that a steady paycheck is better (in the long run) than a big dick. Even a 4 incher can hold a steady job.

Isn't it weird what happened to video games in the past 10 years?
I don't play them anymore but it's interesting how they keep trying to up the ante, bigger worlds, bigger promises, everything - but the actual companies just don't have the ability to deliver on that promise. So instead they treat their employees like slaves, crunch is a given, multiple delays are expected, and if it's not exactly what they promised their audience on day 1 then it's going to get relentlessly trashed by critics and then forgotten like Cyberpunk 2077.

So now these major games all take 5+ years for a major studio to produce and market, yet they might just flop anyway. I think this is why Game Pass is for the best. And that number has been decreasing for a long time now. Couple that with the bad relation between audiences and studios and it's just not a good situation. Making a AAA game (or AAAA or whatever) is a huge gamble unless you stick to a boring formula like Ubisoft. The industry would probably be dead already if it weren't for all the genuine passion that still exists on the development side. Also it has a pretty similar talent pool as tech in general but pays worse and has poor work life balance. So if a recession really does come soon it'll be pretty damn bad.

But I'm not sure who to blame desu. The industry just got too big. There's too much money in it, and that can be a bad thing. Would Hollywood be better if they disregarded the Chinese market? Absolutely. But corporations exist to maximize revenue, so they won't. If you can't compete, you lose. The only way I see this changing is if some great new format springs up to promote all kinds of games. The current model is just broken.

I feel profoundly empty. I feel like everything I do is motivated by a need to distract myself from this emptiness. Whenever I succeed at something I feel empty and dissatisfied. It was easy to let myself into their houses; with my curiosity so satisfied I left. To be honest, at the first glance I would have been frightened if I had found the door locked. Yet I had never felt like this with my own family. No one locked their door, there were no secrets in my family, so I left when I got bored, although I would sometimes feel like a traitor. But I didn’t feel like I was a child intruding on adult space. On the contrary, I felt that I was a free individual in the right place at the right time, and the others, of course, were completely irrelevant to me. I would stand in the hall listening to music, for instance, to music that someone was playing in their room. There is a kind of intimacy to that, isn’t there, listening to someone at home, if they don’t know that you’re listening, what you’re looking at. How I loved to listen to the music in other people’s houses, it took me back to my own home, to the piano teacher playing the piano downstairs at the house on Järnvägsgatan and how I would often open the front door, and when I was about to step inside, it was as if a secret hand grasped my upper arm, I looked up to find a face smiling down at me. It was like that, I had been so much at home in that house, I had felt so at home in that house, when I would turn the knob with my hand, the door didn’t open. I walked up to the house many times and tried to open the door myself, but always with the same result, as if it was locked, except that the door was open. In the morning when I got up I always looked to see if I was where I was supposed to be, at the kitchen table, in the corner of the bed. Even though I was at home I was never where I was supposed to be, and the door was always open. I never thought about what it might mean to open the front door and enter that house as if I were coming into my own home, except that this house was actually my own, the only place I had that was really mine. The piano teacher was my mother, but then I lived in the house, I slept there, in that room on the top floor in that very bed. And every morning I came into that house, looked for a chair in the living room where I could sit down and relax, and when I did that I realized how much I was missing my own life, I realized I was living somewhere else in someone else’s apartment, I slept there but I was nowhere. I had no home of my own. I thought this was wonderful, for no one else had a life, only I had a life, not my mother, and not the other adults in the house, who were a childless married couple who loved each other. I went into the room and sat in the armchair and listened to the music and thought that this was all right, that it was as if everything were right in my world, as if I could have a life, even though the house seemed empty, or more precisely, as if I didn’t belong.

>When you read it's supposed to cause some kind of mental imagery.
well on some level, perhaps. But the intention (argh, i suppose it differs obviously from author and subject) isn't always supposed to be visual.

The way it was sort of phrased made it seem like the person thought they should be like having a linear movie play in front of their eyes, or something like that.

A set linear narrative of a film is usually .. linear .. so the reader would usually miss out on the vast majority of things going on. It is a difference in writing styles, obviously. It seems more like a simple childrens story, such as Star Wars, versus ... idk ... Martials Epigrams, or something more layered, extrapolative and macro, written for an intelligent audience to scoff at, rather than a wide-eyed audience to gawk at.

>mental imagery.
well, yes. I suppose that is true... but it's a very superficial way to approach literature and entertainment.
