Depends on why you are depressed and what your personal struggles are OP. What worked for me was a combination of Steppenwolf, Siddhartha, various works on Buddhism and stoicism, Zorba the Greek, The Tartar Steep, Atomic Habits, Beauty, and etc. Of course a book alone won’t help you so much as help you diagnose what ever sickness you have in your soul, it’s up to you to mend it. It sounds corny but really you have to try to break out of your negative, cynical, and neurotic ways of thinking and learn to find happiness, beauty and internal peace.
