>How to Succeed as a Hunter in a Farmer's World

Does the book tell you to stop using technology and go live as a hunter? If not, don't bother reading it. You won't cure your ADHD any other way.

you dont have adhd youre just ok your phone too much. put it down in another room and go read a book nigga

Simplest answer: you don't have ADHD. The book is still good though. Remove distractions (those things you go to when you can't focus count) and force yourself to read even if you can't seem to do it easily. After a while you'll reacclimate. Isolate and eliminate (minimise if impossible) sources of instant gratification. What that means is you have to do a task you physically can't skip without not getting what you want. An example is never having junk food at home so you have to go all the way to a store if you want a candy bar. It isn't there tempting you so you don't expend willpower resisting. Turn off your phone and put it in a draw. Or leave it behind when going outside.

Not enough. You need the audiobook WHILE reading for it to work and even then it's a struggle. That's how I managed to do well in college.

Is there a good archive of audiobooks I can reference? Particularly for nonfiction.

I put headphones on. Big over-ear ones. Even if music isn't playing it helps muffle noise that otherwise would be distracting, but I also find music helpful with concentration. Also, when I read on my phone I tend to be more distracted, so I try to read physical books as much as I can but I'm a poor fag so that's rare, unfortunately.

I fucking hate audiobooks. It ruins my inner voice when I read, as gay as that sounds.

use the audiobook as a passive way of interacting with the thing then slowly transition to actively following along from whatever you were doing before. This is why i like text to speach.

Deadass just find books you're genuinely interested in. Who gives a fuck if they're not fucking high-brow /lit/ tier fodder, all that matters is you enjoy the book enough to focus on it.
