It seems Lucifer had the foresight that God would create a bunch of coombrain. IIRC from something I've read here, in Islamic theology, he refuses the bow before Adam. Can't say he's right but he's based whether or we want to admit it or not. In reality, his hatred of humanity would prevent any sort of benevolence or favors toward you in the afterlife making serving him self-defeating.

Satan is the embodiment of falsehood and hatred of God. There is nothing to that being and his realm but suffering and pain. That's it. It's a lower energy field far below integrity. One is better off praising God and following Christ. Getting far away from anything evil and just being the best person they can be.

You could say that God is the All and that evil has a utility towards spiritual growth, which is true, but that utility is for one to realize that there is nothing there. It's not good to sin, it's not good to succumb to evil. By all means, smash your head against the wall - do it as long as you wish until you realize it's not a good idea, but afterwards you better move on and get to where you're supposed to go You don't turn around and start praising the wall.
