What are some books that try to argue a position by bringing up a ton of statistics?

There's no denying that Europeans created the modern world, but that infographic is completely retarded, since their definition of "significant figure" is completely arbitrary. I find it hard to believe that 97% of all significant people/accomplishments occured in EU/NA, especially considering the amount of important events/discoveries which occurred in the Levant/East Asia pre-Enlightenment.

Why not literally every bad argument?
>someone farts when the american pledge is said 100% any time a pledge is said
>are farts anti american?
It's like they think we're stupid or something

He uses every index books he can find including ones in other languages basically totally up the entire written works of history. It's obviously not perfect but it's pretty fucking close.

>every index books he can find
Which is obviously biased, since he's a Westerner born and raised in the US.
Regardless, that figure is so outrageously outlandish that it always makes me laugh when /pol/tards post it as if it's some epic achievement of the white race. Do you honestly believe 97% of all meaningful discoveries throughout all of human history occurred in Europe/NA?

How is biased if you're using all the books from other countries in their own languages???

He's not "using all the books from other countries", he's curating a collection of sources and counting how many of the references in his collection are European vs Asian vs African etc. Do you not see how that's biased? What if it were an African author born and raised in Africa who claimed to have sampled sources from across the world and found that Africa comprised over half of all significant figures in human history?

He isn't doing that. He is using books from other countries. Did you even read the book lol

Yes, dumbshit, I'm more than aware of that. But that does, in no way, contradict anything I have said. Idiot.

Extrapolate that to every field of study in every major historical state over all of recorded history and it quickly becomes infeasible to parse all of it, even for someone with good intentions. And that's not even including works which were destroyed/lost to time (ie the House of Wisdom in Baghdad).
